Young and old alike will enjoy these plush 14-inch-tall tall figures, stitched from soft Lion Brand Chenille super chunky and Lion Brand Homespun chunky yarn.

French Knot
Row 2: Fold top of sts tog, working through both thicknesses, sc in each st across. Fasten off.

Sew 1 end to center of rnd 7 on 1 side of head.

Using black, embroider 6 French knots (see illustration) centered under nose for mouth and 2 French knots above Nose for eyes, as shown in photo.

Insert twigs in body for arms as shown in photo.

Cut 1 strand antique 5 inches long. Fold strand in half, insert hook in st, pull fold through, pull ends through fold, tighten.
