Weave in ends as work progresses.
Join rounds with a slip stitch unless otherwise stated.
Chain-3 at beginning of double crochet rounds counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
Chain-5 at beginning of double crochet rounds counts as first double crochet and chain-2 space unless otherwise stated.
Beginning shell (beg shell): Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in sp indicated.
Shell: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in sp indicated.
Beginning chain-3 shell (beg ch-3 shell): Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in sp indicated.
Chain-3 shell (ch-3 shell): (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in sp indicated.
Beginning cluster (beg cl): Ch 4, holding back last lp of each tr on hook, 2 tr in indicated st, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.
Cluster (cl): Holding back last lp of each tr on hook, 3 tr in indicated st, yo, draw through all 4 lps on hook.
Rnd 1 (RS): With 2 strands of spring meadows held tog, ch 5, join in first ch to form a ring, ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), 23 dc in ring, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (24 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 5 (see Pattern Notes), [dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 2] 7 times, dc in each of next 2 dc, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-5. (24 dc, 8 ch-2 sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, beg shell (see Special Stitches) in same sp, shell (see Special Stitches) in each rem ch-2 sp around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (8 shells)
Rnd 4: Join raspberry with sc in ch-2 sp of any shell, beg shell in same sp, *ch 1, sc in sp between shells, ch 1, shell in ch-2 sp of next shell, rep from * 6 times, ch 1, sc in sp between shells, ch 1, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (8 shells, 8 sc, 16 ch-1 sps)
