  • Coats & Clark Red Heart Classic worsted weight yarn: 42 oz black #12, 17.5 oz paddy green #686 and 14 oz ber-ries #973
  • Size H/8 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Yarn needle

Popcorn (pc): 4 dc in indicated st, draw up a lp, remove hook, insert hook in first dc of 4-dc group, pick up dropped lp, draw through st on hook.
Sdc: Yo hook, insert hook in st, yo, draw lp through all lps on hook at one time.

Rnd 1 (RS): With berries, ch 4, sl st to join to form a ring, ch 3, 3 dc in ring, draw up a lp, remove hook, insert hook in top of beg ch-3, pick up dropped lp, draw through st on hook, ch 3, [pc in ring, ch 3] 3 times, join in top of beg pc. (4 pc; 4 ch-3 sps)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, [sc, 4 dc, sc] in each ch-3 sp around, join in beg sc. (4 petals)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc between petals, ch 4, working in back of petals over first rnd, sc in lower center edge of petal, ch 4] rep around, join in beg sc. (8 ch-4 lps)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, [sc, 5 dc, sc] over each ch-4 lp around, join in beg sc, fasten off. (8 petals)
Rnd 5: Attach paddy green in sc of Rnd 3 between petals of Rnd 4, ch 1, sc in same sc as beg ch-1, *ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sdc in each of next 2 ch, dc in each of next 3 ch **, sc in next sc to the left between petals in Rnd 3, rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join in beg sc.
Rnd 6: 6: Ch 1, [working on opposite side of foundation ch of leaf, work 5 sc, 3 sc in point of leaf, 5 sc down opposite side of leaf] rep around, join in beg sc, fasten off. (104 sc)

Rnd 1: Attach paddy green in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 4 (counts as first dc, ch 1), [dc, ch 1] 3 times and dc in same corner ch-2 sp, *sk next 2 sts, dc in next st, [ch 1, dc] 3 times in same st, rep from * around entire outer edge, working [dc, ch 1] 4 times and dc in each rem corner ch-1 sp, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-4, fasten off.
