Materials

  • Red Heart Lustersheen fine (sport) weight yarn (4 oz/335 yds/113g) per skein:
      3 skeins #0001 white
  • Size E/4/3.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Gague
6 dc = 1 inch; 6 dc rows = 2 inches

Special Stitches
Mesh: Ch 1, sk next ch or st, dc in next st.
Block: Dc in next ch sp, dc in next st, or, dc in each of next 2 sts.
Beginning mesh (beg mesh):
Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch-1 sp), sk next ch sp, dc in next st.
Beginning mesh decrease (beg mesh dec): Sl st in each of first 3 sts or chs.
End mesh decrease (end mesh dec): Leave last mesh unworked, turn.

Shawl
Row 1: Ch 373, dc in 5th ch from hook (first 4 chs count as first dc and ch-1 sp), [ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch] across, turn. (185 mesh)
Row 2: Beg mesh dec (see Special Stitches), beg mesh (see Special Stitches), mesh (see Special Stitches) across to last mesh, end mesh dec (see Special Stitches), turn. (183 mesh)
Rows 3–93: Work according to chart across, turn. Fasten off at end of last row.

Fringe
For each Fringe, cut 2 strands, each 20 inches long. With both strands held tog, fold in half, insert hook in st or row, pull fold through, pull all strands through fold; tighten. Trim.
Attach 1 Fringe to end of each row and in last mesh.
