  • Size H/8/5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle

11 sc = 3 inches

Pattern Notes
Bag is worked in rounds from bottom to top.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
Move markers up to corresponding stitches as rounds are worked.

Rnd 2: 3 sc in next st (corner), *sc in each st across to next marker**, 3 sc in marked st (corner), rep from * around, ending last rep at **.
Rnds 3 & 4: Sc in each st around with 3 sc in each center corner st. (84 sc at end of last rnd)
Rnd 5: Working in back lps (see StitchGuide.com), sc in each st around, join (see Pattern Notes) in beg sc.
Rnd 6 (RS): Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 3, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st, turn, 3 sc in ch sp just worked, sl st in next st, turn, working behind ch sp, sc in each of last 2 sk sts, [ch 3, sk next worked st and next 2 sts, sc in next st, turn, 3 sc in ch sp just worked, sl st in next sc, turn, working behind ch sp, sc in each of last 2 sk sts] around, join in beg sc, turn.
Rnd 7 (WS): Ch 1, 2 sc in first st behind ch sp, sc in next st, [2 sc in next st behind ch sp, sc in next st] around, join in beg sc, turn.
Next rnds: Rep rnds 6 and 7 alternately until piece measures 9 3/4 inches from rnd 4, ending with WS rnd.

Last rnd: Working from left to right, ch 1, reverse sc (see Fig. 1) in each st around, join in beg reverse sc. Fasten off.

Sew 1 inch on each end of Straps to inside at top of Bag as shown in photo.
